When any song is loaded on to deck 3,4 ,or any deck other than deck 1 or 2, for some reason it becomes impossible to reintialise specific controllers using reinit_controller [my controller]. Once the song has been loaded on the deck the only way to reinit the launchpad is to reinit ALL devices using 'reinit_controller'.
I have found that loading or reloading a song onto deck 1 or 2 seems to reactivate the capability to reint specific controllers. AFter doing that, I can reinit specifi devices as usual.
