The new VenueMagic VirtualDJ Lighting Plugin. This plugin allows you to control VenueMagic's Beat Tapper and run VenueMagic Timelines from within VirtualDJ. This plugin will be available for use with the new release of VenueMagic DMX+AV and VenueMagic SC+. The version required is currently in BETA and has an expected release date of August 31st, 2011.

I use Venue Magic and it is tremendous, good fun too. The beta version has been released, that I have got, stating the plugin is available. I' have looked but I have not found.

Is it a case of the plug in not being available until the full update becomes available?

I've tried it out and it's very good. I've set up shows for my wedding first dances, such as Amazed by Lonestar but it looks great when synched to an upbeat track. Great stuff!

Can't seem to find a way to install this on my mac.. is it only for PC??

Think I'll start with FreeStyler and Scott's plugin. If it goes well and I get the hang of DMX and use it regularly I might invest. But for a DMX noob, this is outta my price range...

So was I, dmx was 'the other side'! Took me some time to master it but it's worth the time, it's great. You can always call me and I could talk you through a few basics.

That's always the argument over software isn't it... Price... At the end of the day it's a professional package and not a great argument really - kind of like why spend money and buy VDJ when you could use winamp or one of the other millions of free DJ softwares....

Don't get me wrong there's nothing wrong with Freestyler it's a good basic functioning DMX program but it's no where near in the same league as Venue Magic - pretty much like VDJ does so much more than other free Dj software.

One thing you guys might want to be adding is the ability to link songs with specific timelines. So you have a fixed light show for your most popular songs.

I use Visual DMX but this is the sort of thing I'm looking for, could change me depending on the results of their new vesrion.

how can i put this on my VDJ??
