Topic: Numark M1 USB With Virtual DJ question

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Does any one know if it is possible to get my mixer, (Numark M1 USB), to work with virtual dj, OR even any other software? Just wondering, I probably need to get a new mixer but Its just a question any way.

I have a MAYA 44 USB Too, I don't know if that matters at all.<~
Ive heard I will need an ASIO with what ever Mixer I get in the end so I have that, let me get to my point.

If it does not work, which I am pretty sure that it will not, what mixer(s) does any one recommend.

I am a scratching DJ mostly, 2 decks, both vinyl obviously, i am using Timecoded Serato with Virtual DJ and for
UNDER $320~
What are my options, what are my best bets and what are the best scratching mixers I could get that WILL DEFINITELY WORK WITH VIRTUAL DJ.1!>!?!?!?!!?

Any mixer will "work with Virtual DJ" if you use the analogue line inputs...

You have a MAYA 44 so all you need to do is use the MAYA as your sound card and run RCA cables from the MAYA outputs to the M1 line inputs.

That way you don't need to spend any more money!

Well, that cant possibly be true. it isnt working and im near a 100% on my connections and settings

I can assure you that it is true!

VDJ will work with any mixer.

Connect the output(s) of your sound card - in this case a MAYA44 - to the line inputs of the mixer, and the sound from VDJ will play throught the mixer. As long as you've set it all up correctly of course.
