Topic: PLEASE HELP---CRASHES

Ok, before i lose my mind, can someone please help me...
I KEEP crashing over and over....After about 3- songs, my vd crashes..it will just stutter and stutter for about 10 seconds..then its good, but once i try to touch anything...again..here is what i have
PC LAPTOP----
PENTIUM R DUAL CORE
2,2 GHZ
64 BIT OPERATING SYSTEM
WINDOWS 7
VIRTUAL DJ PRO 7
TORQ XPONENT MIDI CONTROLLER

i havent changed any latency settings etc etc etc.....just bought this laptop..and just started to crash..thanks

Can you try without the hardware connected and see if you get the same results.
 
oh also, when i close my VD then reopen, then i dont have my bpm's anymore as well.......i have to actually turn off my laptop and restart
 
So, it worked fine on a previous computer? Did you try a re-download of the software, and a re-install?
 
in the past, i had it on my desktop...i was running windows xp though..no problems..maybe its a windows 7 64 bit thing????i assume vd works with windows 7?
 
try reinstalling the drivers?
 
Does VDJ get a crash dump error, does it lockup, are you getting a Blue Screen?

Make Sure Your CONTROLLER Is Updated For 64 bit
 
you have to isolate the problem , which is why Homeboy told you to try it with out the controller ....
