I've used Promo Only music for Many years. I dropped Video format a year ago when they started placing the PO watermark throughout the entire video. I switched over to VJ pro, and while I'm happy with their content, I still feel I used to get more releases with Promo. I can live with the Watermark at the beginning and ending of the song as it shows the title, but not the entire song. Just wondering if anyone can confirm Promo only Video series still carries it's watermark throughout its videos.

It appears and disappears now and sometimes you cant even notice it, its nothing like it was before.

That's correct it's intermittent. I was one that complained in their forum when that started but as it turned out I rarely even notice it anymore and I'm sure none of my customers have noticed the watermark. I spend top dollar for their videos and if that will help keep the re-mixers from ripping them off I'm now for it. (Not that I believe this has helped in that regard)

How long does the watermark stay up? A few seconds or a full minute?

I don't know about a "huge database of MUSIC and VIDEO remixes to choose from" @ http://www.virtualremixes.com/
I only saw 32 videos available, total. Is this going to grow?

Yes, we are a very new site and we will be adding more videos every week. You will not find our videos on any other sites and we don't have any tags in our videos.

You can visit http://dtvideos.net, they don't have a watermark and their edits are some of the best I've seen so far. Also they're uploading new videos very often and they already have over 240 videos on their DB.
Hope it helps.

I'm gonna let you guys in because from what I've been reading above either this thread is a joke or the other VJ's plan to hide the good sources in hope that nobody else get's their hands on the good material.
Promo only is for beginners or if you like to mix music six months after the rest of us have slapped and spanked it. Plus they goofed up by not offering instant downloads. Nobody wants to wait for discs in the mail - get with it P.O it's called generation now.
My12inch.com, not bad but 8thwonder.com & videotoolz creamed them with the price difference. However, with my12inch you will get alot more Latin and Country hits. With my12inch.com you get better and more house remixes of Hip Hop, R&B & Pop hits but no Mash-Ups. 8thwonder posts more Mash-Ups than anything else but I.M.O the lesser percentage is even worth downloading but hey that's just me.
There are a few more sites, smashvids I cannot access from Canada so I have no idea. Mixmash.com and djvideosource.com - never tried.
For quality of content, D.B size, ease of use, frequency of video posts, the site that gets my dollar is Xtendamix.com. If the sheer size of this archive does not impress you then the fact that you can request what's missing and have it mixing on your decks the next day should at least make you raise an eyebrow. The faults: No Mash-Ups but then again it's not a Mash-Up site. The site needs a marker for already downloaded material. The preview wiindow starts all the songs from the beginning and a timid offering of Latin vids.
Bottom line here is this, for the price you can keep 8thwonder running year round unless you pocket book says otherwise. But you won't get everything out on video, one or two more supplementary sources can keep you in the game. It all comes down to price more often than not, Xtendamix is the site for anyone looking to build a serious vid collection....I.M.O
