Just a small wiki about on the fly changes for mapping the controller crossfader to either use to xfade deck to deck audio or deck to deck video:
When the mapper is set for example, "video_crtossfade" in the controller mapper and you want to change it to use the crossfader for audio only on the fly it's very easy to do. Remove "video_" and press OK. The crossfader now works for deck to deck audio without restarting the program.
When the mapper is set to crossfader for deck to deck audio and you want to change it to video crossfade by adding "video_" to crossfader you MUST make sure that "Video Activate" is not checked otherwise it won't change on the fly. You'll have to restart VDJ. By deactivating Video in configure 1st when changing the mapper to video xfader it will work right away without restarting VDJ.

An much easier method is to leave it mapped as crossfader and then do the following:
- Link the video and audio crossfaders (Video tab -> Link padlock to right of crossfader on the default skin, or under CONFIG -> Video) if you wish to crossfade both video and audio at the same time.
- Unlink the video and audio crossfaders if you wish to crossfade audio only.
- If you wish to crossfade video only, link the crossfaders as above, then go to CONFIG -> Options and change Crossfader to Disabled.
