I downloaded the demo to see what it was like and im keen on buying it, but it only lets me have 50% of wav files, is this the demo or does the full package do this?

Did you check the "max load" option ?
VirtualDJ only display totally the tracks which are no longers than this parameter.
This option is due to the fact that some PC do not have much RAM.

It's in the "general" options (hit "config" on the skin before). Then encode your "max load" setting ("Charge max" in french).
However I'm not sure if this option is available in the demo version.

so you're talking about wma, not wav because loading wav files was always without problems.
About wma there was a known problem but i believe it is fixed in the latest 2.1 release.

It's easy to answer you: do these people have the status "professional edition user"? If not why do you believe them and not us? Just a question like that

to bypass it :
if you will backup mp3database.txt and VirtualDJ Database.xml files away from
the virtual dj directory, and you WILL NOT ANALYZE your wma files,
just drag an unrecognized file and drop it onto a deck. It will play 100% and recognize it all.
But if you click on file in explorer and click analyse it will analyse only 50% and after that analyze when you drag the song and drop it on the deck it will play always only 50%
