Before I reinstall VDJ to see if that get's rid of some problems I'm having, what files should I backup. I'm assuming I should do a complete deinstall and then install. Any advice from folks who have been through this is much appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks lej..just did so. A friend recommended removing all my music from VDJ folders as a precaution which I did to. Would hate to have to rip all the cd's again.

Now my question..which I hope I'm missing something. I went to the download page and figured I would hit update to get my fresh install. It knew I had already updated and told me to send a note to e-service. I've heard the horror stories of the length of time for response. Is there another way to get a fresh install. I don't see it. Thanks.

An install will not effect your music files.
You should copy your install and lic code to a cd and keep it safe somewhere.
Everytime I get an upgrade it's the first thing I do.

@mp3rick, thanks....know that now. I was just psyched b/c i found a cd I burned and then discovered it was 2.01. No TCV support. Happy to sad. Lesson learned. I guess I'm at the mercy of e-service.
