Topic: Sync button flashing?

When I'm using the 1240x1028 skin, the Sync button flashes. Any idea why? It's really annoying.

Edit - using the V6 skins, the play button flashes. I find it really, really, really annoying. Can this be turned off?

It should flashing to the tempo of the music you are playing. Side effect of the new skin functions in an older skin.
 
Yes, this is bad it's like it's asking you to hit the button all the time. I would like this stopped also.
 
to turn it off, you need to open the file Documents/VirtualDJ/Skins/VirtualDJ6.zip/Pro.xml, and replace action="sync" by action="off & sync"
 
Anyone have any success with this? Can't seem to open Pro.xml.

You can use Microsoft Wordpad to open & edit the XML file.

 
my sync button doesnt flash but the play button constantly flashes.. never mind - sorry just woke up and not thinking correct...duh
 


Only when you have loaded a track, and its ready to play;)


The new flash on ready for play, is how most dj hardware behave too :)

And many dj hardware has flash on sync too :)
 
Opened in wordpad and searched using the find option for action="sync" and just sync and it came back with nothing as if it's not there.

Okay, got it off. Just search in the xml for the "sync" section and edit it. Now the "Sync" button doesn't work at all, but that's just fine by me. Never used it anyway.
