Speak to SBDJ - not sure if he has that model but he definately has an ECLER mixer he uses and loves it.

I use an Ecler EVO 5, along with either the HC4500 and/or timecodes.

I'm not aware of anyone mentioning anything wrong with the Nuo however.

Hi Everyone.

Need some help with the ecler Nuo4. How do i get the crossfade to work within virtual DJ i have installed the ecler cd that came with the mixer and it is connected to the laptop, everything seems to be working as I have monitored the midi signal from the mixer to the laptop. Any help on this would be great.

If your laptop is recieving the MIDI signal, then it should be easy to do:

Open VDJ and go to Config > Remote Control
Right click on General MIDI and select Activate
Right click on General MIDI and select Config
Click Add
Select video_crossfade (assuming you just want to control video fader in VDJ and mix audio on the Ecler)
Move the crossfader and value should appear where it says {autolearn} at the top
Click OK three times
Enjoy :)

Thanks Scott.

Will give it a go later today. Will this also let me crossfade the music as I do not use it for video

If you're using the Ecler to mix with External Mixer mode in VDJ, then that will be handled by the Ecler - you don't need to even MIDI map the crossfader if you're not doing video.
