Hello guys.
What can you tell me about these sound cards talking about latency and audio quality?
Did you have tried one of those??
Your opinion about timecode?

The Audio 4 and the Audio 8 are exactly the same in terms of sound quality. The only difference is the Audio 8 allows you to mix on 4 decks and is a feature built into Traktor Pro.
I use Timecode with the Audio 4 and it works flawlessly.
I have not heard a better soundcard. This thing is amazing.
I can't speak for the Maya44 as I have not heard it myself but from what I have read, the review have been mixed. Some say it's a terrible sounding card....others say it sounds just fine.
I'm 100% certain you won't regret using the Audio 4. It sounds amazing!

have you consider the m-audio conectiv? i've been using it for about 2 years, not a single issue....
output is loud & clear, i'm running 128 buffer (2ms).

Definitely excited to see how this compares to the Audio 4 DJ. Do you know if they'll be packaging any software with this thing? I have one turntable (technics SL1200M3D), and I'm looking for a soundcard/software with phono premaps and grounds to use with it. My current dilemma is that it's $200 for a soundcard and $300 for VirtualDJ. Meanwhile I can get the Audio4DJ and Traktor Duo combined for $350. If VirtualDJ came packaged with it, or VirtualDJ offered a discount like they do with the DJ control rmx/steel it could put virtualDJ back in the running for me.

what are some prices on these units
Im using the maya44 I cant say whats its doing because its all Ive ever used. I can say its simple compact and once I learned to plug it in the same usb each time I havent had any issue loading it up
I have heard other folks workings shows with me and they have way more output which is why I want to upgrade to prehaps the m-audio conectiv which I heard was clean and clear

I recon it all depends on your amp and speaker system as to which one you choose. If your system is the best money can buy you will hear a defeerence between the Maya44 and the Audio 8. Me, I don't spend a fortune on speakers, I buy good quality name brand clones for mobile use, and use a Maya44. If I do an install for a club I use Audio 8, because they demand quality. At a mobile gig no one will be able to pick the difference.

I gotta go with DJPR1. He told me about the Connectiv and I've never looked back. Maya 44 is a joke.
