Hello, fellow music mixers
I have been using VDJ for a few months now, and I am ready to purchase a setup that will allow me to cue and preview songs in my headphones, as well as hardware that will give me hands on control so I can do multiple things at once, scratch easier, etc.
I have done some research and it seems like the Numark Total Control device is a good entry level mixer. I also like the ability to scratch and control the VDJ software so I can add tracks without using my mouse. Also, since I am using a laptop, I need a external sound card from what I have gathered. Are there any problems with this setup or compatibility issues? Any feedback would be most appreciated.

How about the Numark Omni Control , includes a high quality audio interface inside with the ease of the Total Control.
