I have a bunch of .dll's downloaded so I moved them to the Sound Effects folder, where the default .bundle files are stored, rebooted Virtual DJ, but it didn't recognize the new .dll's. How can I fix this?

Is there a better Mac version out there?
Posted Fri 10 Oct 08 @ 4:22 pm
Yes there is. If u using the "unauthorized" version, it may somehow damaged due to the modification made. Buying the legit product is the only way to get ur application stable. I hope to see u as a pro user soon.

Not to mention the fact that .dll's are for windows, not for the mac version ;)

Your welcome.. the reason i pointed to u to the purchase page is so, when u did make a purchase and became one of us, u can have the bundle effects for free for the mac version in the goodies section;)
Hope to see u with us soon and have a nice day;)

You have to add the .dll file to the sound effects folder under the virtiual dj folder in documents not under program files.
so go to
documents
virtual dj
plugins
sound effects (place .dll files here)
reload virtual dj and it should work

Thanks for bumping an old post that had already been answered.
This is however in the Mac version - which means you need Mac effects which are bundles not dlls...
