I had all sorts of problems with my RMX. I was also using a Dell to run it.
The tecky at Digital Village said there have been a few people with Dells who couldn't get Hercules midi stuff working. Maybe a coincidence maybe some sort of glicth ?

So I have pretty much everything working fine.
However it seems that Winamp is causing some sort of conflict with Virtual DJ.
If I reboot my laptop and go straight to Virtual DJ I get everything to work fine. If I then close it down and listen to anything on Winamp (an album, internet radio etc) then go back to Virtual DJ I get an ASIO error.
On the other hand if I reboot then listen to internet radio on Winamp, close that then open up Virtual DJ it still works but if I then close that and go back to Winamp I get no sound output and need to reboot.
Annoying as I switch quite a lot from one thing to the other.
Any idea what I can do to fix the conflict between the two? Anybody else had this problem?
