Topic: Errors with itunes playlist............Help

Just got VDJ5 rev7, i have all my playlists organized with itunes on external hard drive. The problem is if i try to drag some files from the itunes playlist is giving me errors with songs with an accent or & on them, But if i go directly to my external hd the folder is there and no problem loading. I don't wanna search a song thru my external wich i don't have organize that's why i got itunes. Now i left my Lappy overnight analizing all the songs (10,000) in my external hd.

-What's my next step?
-Do i have to analize the itunes playlist too?

One of the reasons i left Torq alone was because of the slow database causing it to crash sometimes,but i never had problem with itunes playlist working with Torq they always load (accent,&,symbols) with no problem. I had the VDJ Demo for only a week and i decided to buy it because it has everything i need. I don't wanna regret it tho, i really love this program. That's the only issue i have, any help will be appreciated.

Hmmm...That's wierd. I thought this version actually adressed those issues. I found this in the topic at this link.

Yeah that's what i thought too, i did a clean install of rev7. Also went to config and did a check then clean and nothing. But like i said i'm analizing all my external and i will try the check/clean again.

Left my Laptop running all night analyzing all my songs. I did the check/clean but same old S#%*t, wtf. I go to my itunes playlist i got all this weird files of course the ones with accents and & that won't play (error) so i have to go digging in my external drive and the file exist. Very Frustrating!!! Got a gig Wednesday running out of time. Any Teamer out there with any suggestions?

ok after many hours, i found out that the problem is with VDJ reading the playlist within itunes.
For example this is just part of my itunes in VDJ

itunes - i can't see the files here but if i go on search the song it appears and i can load with no problems
dance - any songs with accents or symbols gives me error
dancehall - any songs with accents or symbols gives me error
hip hop - any songs with accents or symbols gives me error
music - this is my entire library i can see all my files here (Load with no problem)
rock - any songs with accents or symbols gives me error

* the songs that have an accent in the playlist they come up in VDJ like for example ( lejos with accent on the o, comes up like lej@s) and that's why is giving me an error.

Any Suggestions?

I'm getting the same error. Any song with ACCENTS or symbol aren't loading. Any help?


MODIFY: Version 5.7 fixes the Issue.... Thank you, programmers!
 
Having the same problem, even called tech support and all they said was the database was corrupted...so now I have a gig and all my songs in the playlist have errors, but they play from my music library with no issues. So major stress and tech support did not help my situation. So I took a chance and reset a system restore point to go back two days and it worked and it fixed all my playlist. Thank God they all work....i can breath again.
