Topic: Sync button stuck on

I was spinning videos last night with 5r2 & TCV. All of a sudden, the left deck's sync button was stuck on. I tried pressing the Q/reset button, but it wouldn't unlock. Every time I loaded a track on the right deck, the left deck would instantly adjust to that bpm. Is this a bug? Or did I accidently press some shortcut that locked it? It really screwed up my mixing, because if I tried to adjust the right deck using vinyl, it would make the left deck slow down or stop playing. I basically had to DJ the rest of the night in internal mode because of this.

I never had this problem with 4.2/4.3.

press "B" at the active deck.

You somehow triggered BEATLOCK...

Its a feature you probably never wanna use (guessing from your posts), so you can remove that shorcut all together from keyboard shortcuts. to prevent it ever happen again
 
thanks. i think that must have turned on when i was trying to type in the search field. i've never used that feature before.
i'll delete that shortcut now.
shouldn't that beatlock function turn off when i press the sync button again or Q/reset button?

 
It happening to me now as i write this, cant get the f*ck out of it, stressful or what, i waited untill the dancefloor was clear and reloaded VDJ. I done wht the above post said but beatlock was still on, what was the problem?

Using VDJ with CDJ 350's
 
Nobody is here, the guys have gone home, the place is locked up, they all left over five years ago... lol

By the way, you really need to read the eula on using unlicensed gear for professional purposes.
