I'm running the VDJ video skin. I have two audo channels out to my external mixer. How do I cue the video not playing using my headphones? It seems I can only hear in the headphones, the video playing.

Hehe, I get that pretty much. Yes, I can hear the deck playing. I cannot hear the deck that I want to cue up unless I slide VDJ's crossfader over........which of course is a trainwreck.

Stupid question, but you can see the picture with no audio... and all audio files work properly.

when using audio only can you here decks 1 and 2 seperately?

Right, I can see the video moving in the little preview window.

I'm using for output = external mixer and Sound card = mono seperated. It seems like its because I don't have VDJ's onboard mixer slider in the middle. If I leave it in the middle the audio works but I then have video issues. I have to move it slightly to the right or left then sometimes I have both videos showing on the tv out. There must be something I'm doing wrong with a setting.
I thought about unlinking crossfader in the video admin but I'd have to hit play which is fine for the audio since I have an external mixer but how do I crossfade the video at the same time with only one mouse? Sounds too complicated.

How about, in the options tab of the settings, choose "crossfader: disabled".
Then when you move the crossfader on screen it will only do the video.
Not sure what's going on though with the sound not happening on one deck sometimes though.

hi doc
just got back been reading your posts, first off at the present time to clear up any misunderstandings can we go back to basics forget about video for the present time, do you have two clear channels on audio ie one you can play out on one channel and one you can cue up on the other channel

Ok, that did it. I had to disable the crossfader in the settings. Thanks. It seems the more I get into VDJ the more I love it. Next is a new tower.
