The staff on this board recommend the nVidia GeForce 6600GT with GDDR3 memory, this card is good in terms of performance and price. Although anything more powerful should be equally well suited.

In fact I have news in this. The recomended videocard is in terms of How much you can invert in this. In terms of Price the recommendation is;

1.- N-Vidia 6600GT 256MB DDR3. Not a 6600GS not a 6600LE not a 6600 alone. Must be 6600GT.

2.- N-Vidia 7600GT 256MB DDR3. Same indications than in option 1.

3.- N-Vidia 6800GT 256MB DDR3. Same indications than in option 1.

4.- N-Vidia 7800GT or GTX 256MB DDR3. Same indications than in option 1.

5.- N-Vidia 7900GT or GTX 256MB DDR3. Same indications than in option 1.

If you got a laptop, then 6800 could work but I highly recommend ATI X1400 (or above) over N-Vidia 7400GS. Only 7800GT it's better. In laptos also is ok a ATI X600.

Good Luck!

I use an ATI Ragen 9550 and I noticed that all the videos have perfect picture when I see it on my TV using power DVD. When I play them with Virtual DJ, i got some drop frames and some white horizontal lines.
I repeat... When I choose Power DVD, I drag the screen of Power DVD on my television and I choose "Full Screen" on the program. The picture is absolut perfect!

Do you have any idea of setting on virtual DJ?

VirtualDJ use all memory in your graphics card. ATI 9550 is a multi propose graphics card but isn't a good one for VirtualDJ. In PowerDVD you don't do scratch or change the speed in small amounts (like in pitch control) or make effects with it, that's why you look your Videos well in there.

If you like ATI use a X1400 or better (256MB), they will give you a good overall performance with VDJ.

Good Luck!
