In theory it is more than possible to download that much data in a day.
If I used my full download bandwidth then I could download about 4.8 Gb of data in a 24 hour period.
In practice this is not likely to be the case, but it illustrates that koelievleisj's point is a valid one.

I still think that a seperate folder for "new stuff" would be his best bet. Right now as I continue encoding my archives I have around 17,000 files. I probably add somewhere around 25-75 files a week. I put them in the "new" folder for the first few weeks, then I move them to whatever folder they are supposed to be in. If you really need them sorted by date, just open the folder in my computer, and sort by date that way.
