Hi, I just plugged in an SP1 sub-controller to supplement my DDJ 1000. Pads, browser and effects work fine, the only problem I have is that the FX assign buttons don't seem to do anything.
I understand that FX assign works in a different way than in Serato, and the factory mapping for these buttons is clone_effects. I set up four different sets of effects on the four decks on my PC, and whichever FX assign button I push (FX1 deck 1, FX1 deck 2, ... etc.) cloning just does not happen, I don't see the changes I would expect on the left/right deck.
Any idea what could be wrong here? It is the first time I try using this feature, so may well be my fault ;)
Just as a curiosity, I found the below on pioneer.com. I know it was meant for VDJ 8, but has this (fx assign) ever worked like this in VDJ?
