Hey guys, i'd like to make my livestream overlays more exciting by adding the current song and some neat beat animations.
I can already get the song information by broadcasting to an Icecast server and pulling the data from there, but i was wondering if there was a more direct way of doing that.
Also i can already get the BPM (or rather the MIDI clock signal) using a virtual MIDI device and the easymidi NPM module, but that doesn't give me a phase for the signal so i only know it's speed, but it won't be in sync.
I tried this OS2L module but even though it starts listening, nothing is happening, even when i configure VDJ specifically to connect to 127.0.0.1 to that port:
