Topic: Serato fail at big night club in NJ

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I am not one of those people to say which Dj software is better than the other. I am however tired of being judge by other Djs because of the software I choose for myself. So I get a certain satisfaction seeing the software they love so much fail because it is soo much more superior. Hey but what do I kno I am a fake Dj because I use VDJ. https://youtu.be/8-E2AnScllE

That's not a software fault. BSOD indicates a hardware or driver failure.

My friends are telling me this may be staged. Apparently Deadmau5 used to do things like this at his shows.

Not to mention that system sounds played out over the club speakers.

Yeah, noticed that too. Wouldn't happen with a controller and ASIO drivers.

drivers are software that run under a different protection level from normal applications. You can actually force a BSOD by messing with certain settings in the registry.

I suspect some virus software can accomplish it. It would be interesting to see what it would take for a normal program to cause a BSOD. Would not be normal anymore :). Don't normally waste time messing with this stuff though. Prior to windows 3 it was ultra simple.

A fake crash I did years ago when messing with flash. All the sounds of Windows XP have been arranged as a musical score. Does absolutely no harm but requires you have flash player installed. It will show a blank page at first and then you will start to hear clicking sounds then error message along with the XP sounds music. And it won't reboot your computer :)

Just a link to xp sounds mp3 arranged as music.

Staged AF...
You wouldn't get the "shutdown" sound if there is a bluescreen. Not to mention all the other Error Messages...
