Topic: Pitch fader logarithmic? with Denon MC-4000

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I realised that the pitch fader doesn't work properly with the Denon MC-4000

There's no direct correlation between the fader in the controller and the one in the screen.

Let's say the pitch range is 10%
From 0% to +-9% works at one precision, but from +-9% to +-10% the displayed value moves much slower.

This is something determined by the hardware. A fader usually provides linear data from one end to the other, but that may not be the case for some units. To be honest i see no usefulness to get a different precision near the end. But anyways, this is something we cant change in the mapping files.

Supposed that... but as in serato it seems to work fine, I was expecting more something like implement in future versions an option to choose the mapping function/parameters of the faders, like the crossfader and the jogs (linear, logarithmic...) ^^
