As of version 8.2 build 3343 Pioneer DDJ-RZ is officially supported.
In order to use the unit properly you need to set the mixer mode in "Internal Mixer Mode" from Pioneer's control panel:


Also the correct audio setup inside VirtualDj (provided by clicking the device button as well) is the following:

The illuminations of the jog go out, and the sound disappears , but Virtual continues to play.
The ddj - rz has latest firmware . I use an Asus I7 8gb ram , win8.1 operating system
