Topic: Pioneer XDJ-Aero - Yosemite; No soundcard detect

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I have a XDJ-Aero and at startup of VDJ8 I get the popup of "new device detected" (which is the XDJ-Aero), but although I click on "use soundcard" it won't be recognised in VDJ config.
I have installed the Mac-driver and the XDJ-Aero shows up on "MIDI Studio" in Audio MIDI setup, but not on the "Audio Devices" page.

Is there somehow a workaround to fix this in Yosemite so I can use the XDJ-Aero soundcard?

How can it be a discontinued model? I just bought it recently!
I see on this page that verification of the XDJ-Aero Yosemite drivers is planned in end of january 2015.
