Topic: VDJ 8 won't even start in Yosemite

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hi,
I downloaded VDJ8 recently to give it a whirl and see what improvements were made.
I love it. It's even drawing me away from competing software. Was planning on buying a full license for it after I had upgraded to OS X Yosemite.

There however lies the problem.
I upgraded to Yosemite yesterday, and VDJ8 won't even start.
It just brings up a box saying "Error FileNotFound"

Bit of a bummer.
Any way to get this working?
I really do love the software, and like I say was planning on buying a license this week, but would obviously not want to buy a license if I can't even get it running.

Got it running again.
I Lost my temper with the laptop and decided to install Yosemite again from fresh.
Downloaded the software.
It's running.

Odd.
Considering I installed Yosemite on Friday from fresh, and downloaded the software again from fresh. I also uninstalled numerous times and redownloaded.

Very odd.

I am on Mavericks and also own VDJ7 & 8 on the MacBook Pro retina 8GB of Ram & 256 SSD.

Have you tested it with a controller to see what happens?

Got it running fine after a fresh install of Yosemite.

I use a Z1 for most of my gigs, it seems fine :)
