Topic: New skin daylight issue (in progress) - Page: 1

This part of topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information

I am working on a new skin that should when finished have 6 to 7 different layouts including video, with each of them having a daylight option.

The problem I am having is when making a daylight version the waves at the top of the screen are not viable. If anyone can guide me in the right direction to sort this would be very much appreciated.

Work in progress so far.

you need to use the old <rhythm> syntax, which doesnt support more than 2 decks. Take a look at my code here http://www.virtualdj.com/addons/11597/TCmania_Bright.html

There is no way to make white background using <rhythmzone>

PS. Do u want me to edit the title of the thread to Daylight ?

Added when a decks song gets down to 60 seconds left the whole deck starts to flash red, 30 seconds and less the deck flash speeds up.

Great skin, daylight should be a default skin option, do you really need loop 1/16, wouldn't loop 64 be better?

you can still do 64 there is no button on the skin that's all.

the two screen shots you have posted on are just mockups done in paint. The finished one's do have ABCD, as for the screens I think that could be a good idea if I can keep the layout looking clean.

Well looks like this skin will have 28 combinations to it's layout / daylight modes. I'm just over half way complete now as I have some free time in my afternoons to myself.

Here is a list of the skin combinations, all selectable without having to go into the options as well.
