Topic: Error Message,video freeze

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Just bought a new laptop and when displaying video thru hdmi a error message that says "Decompressing this file in memory would require 63 Mb of contiguous memory, your system has only a total of 359Mb available free segments (out of the 4095Mb) and they are too fragmented to hold a contiguous buffer.
Therefore the song will be loaded on-the-fly from the drive and the full waveform preview will not be available."
The video freezes and program locks up,music still plays.
My specs are Intel i7-2670QM,NVIDIA GTX570M/3GB GDDR5,16GB Ram

Thank you for the help blckjck
I set VideoMemUse to 1500 and check the boxes on nvidiafreezebug and videoyv12bug.
Have been testing at home for a few hours and can not make it crash.
Thanks to djcel for that great Registry Tool, makes life a lot easier.
