some midi out messages from vdj, trigger two pads to light up.... this happens 4 times on the device. I have tried for many hours to get it to work, I have re written the definition file three times, checked the midi signals with three different programs to confirm... still no joy

Got the same behaviour... I guess making the iStage fully customizable is a dead end :(
