hey guys, i have a total nuub question...
basically i just got the 4mix and basically i want it to scratch when i use the jogwheels, but now it only does that when the track isnt playing, if i move the jogs while playing a track it sounds like im only changing up the ptch a bit but i want it 2 scratch. how do i change this? in my mapper i have this: JOG - touchwheel, JOG_TOUCH - jogwheel touch, SCRATCH - deck 1 vinyl_mode & deck 2 vinyl_mode & deck 3 vinyl_mode & deck 4 vinyl_mode...so how do i change it? iv been able to figure out the syntax for effects but dont know how to go about doing this one...

LE edition users cannot change controller mappers. The default mapping is set to scratch when the scratch button is selected. If you would like to change your mapper, please consider supporting the software by upgrading to Pro Full.

If you are referring to the Hercules 4-Mx then it does have a scratch button. If the controller you are referring to is the DJ Tech 4MIX, then no, it does not have a scratch button.

Go to the folder Documents->VirtualDJ->Mappers and delete the mapper file in that folder. Once you restart the software, the controller will go back to the default mapper which should enable scratching again once the scratch button is pressed.

after much struggle i found it. it wasnt a software issue, all i needed 2 do is unlock the wheels from under the controller. who would have thought something so seemingly simple could give me such issues haha. thanks for all your help though
