Topic: VMS4 BIG PROBLEM!!!!!!!! :(

4 days ago i bought a vms 4, im very happy with it, the analog chanels are nice for just a mp3 player ;) ( have no money for tabletop :P )
but when i want to use virtual dj I keep having problems :(
after 2 days i finaly have sound, but the when i use vdj 7 the channel 2 fader ( for deck 1 ) was master and deck 1 volume so i remapped the channel 1 fader for deck 1 and channel 4 for deck 2, but when i close vdj and start up again the channel 1 fader is set as master so then i have to remap it back to the channel 2 fader, and the other problem is when i pres the pre-listen button nothing happens exept when i press the prelisten button on the channel that is set by vdj as master but then i hear both trough headphones AND speakers.
dont know if explained it right but im bad at english :P
can anyone please help me its realy frustrating XD
and ask if you dont understand me ;)


my settings on the vms4 are all channels to usb ( because i need 3 for 1 master and 2 decks thats the problem :P ) the cue mix is turned al the way to cue and gain for headphones in the middle

and remember im a noob to this its my first dj console ;)

Please read here some useful notes about VMS4 and how it works with VirtualDJ.

In case you need additional help on how to setup your controller, please open a thread to the Hardware Forum

You will also need to register the serial number (keycode) of your VirtualDJ LE version that came bundled with you controller to your Profile Pag, in order to receive the latest update from your Download Center.
 
I had a little trouble setting up my vms4.

I have my audio as "advanced config" and then set deck 1 > vms4 > 1&2 then deck 2 > vms4 > 7&8.

This uses my fader 1 and fader 4.
 
Note, that each time you change the deck order in sound, you will also need to change the mapping of volumes and eq, in case you have mapped them as fake actions by default.
If you have mapped them nothing, then you dont need to do that.
 
yeh i know but still there is one channel as master and only the cue button of the channel that is set as master works for prelistening
and now i have another problem my volume on the right is harder than on the left :S
 
already fixed the problem with the diffrence in right and left deck
now only the problem that with the fader thats assigned as master every time in vdj, and the prelistening :(
 
anyone? :(
its sort of useless now :(
