I was trying 2 do a manual backspin on deck B and it won't make the (backspin) noise. Deck A does just fine & like it is supposed 2. Is this a known issue with the Mac version or what??

One deck may be set to CD mode.

If you have not used the 20 day Pro trial yet, go to CONFIG to activate it and then go to CONFIG -> Options and check that Jog Mode is set to Vinyl

Otherwise download VirtualDJ Home FREE http://www.virtualdj.com/download/free.html - This will allow testing of Pro features for 10 minutes at a time, so you can use it to check this setting and change it if necessary.
 
I clicked on the try pro for 20 days on thursday night and on friday when I clicked on my LE it asked for some type of code and then it reverted back to the LE version after just 1 day so I didn't get my 20 days of pro......I'm having so many issues with this LE not sure if I want 2 purchase the pro version because I can't even try it out to make test my mixtrack 2 see if it works seemlessly because of the way my trial version went. Oh but I did test it out the issue that I had in LE as soon as I updated 2 pro trial and it still had that issue but seeing that I can't access the pro version any longer I can't change any settings 2 see if that was an issue.
 
If the trial expired then this means that you may have already previously used a trial or other version of the software.

As stated above, you can download Home FREE from http://www.virtualdj.com/download/free.html - This will allow testing of Pro features for 10 minutes at a time. Go to CONFIG to active the 10 minute trial. This will allow you check the Jog Mode setting. Make sure that it says Vinyl, not Vinyl/CD. Then close VirtualDJ Home FREE and go back to VirtualDJ LE.
 
I just bought my mixtrack pro on thursday & hit the try pro trial thursday or friday night so how could a 20 day pro trial run out in one day? The only other version of VDJ I downloaded was the home free one to try out the program before I bought the mixtrack.
 
So I guess there is no answer to why I only recieved one day out of my 20 day pro trial.... With all the issues that I'm having it makes me want to buy or try a different program because the support staff can't help me with my issues.
 
Sounds like smart_scratch could have been activated on deck b to me.

I can't really help with the trial issues as I'm not an Atomix teamer, but is it possible you've used a VDJ pro trial before in the past?

The use of VDJ Home allows you to trial VDJ7 for as long as you want, but only with 10 minutes of pro features per session.
 
No, I downloaded VDJ home edition about a week before I got my mixtrack which would've been 2 weeks ago 2day and I did not hit anything about trying pro or any of that stuff.
 
What about my first line with regards to your original issue?

I replied to the trial problem in the other thread.
 
Not sure haven't tried contacting them by phone or by ticket because of what the staff member said in this thread doesn't seem like they will be able to help me much. And in regards to the home free version you could be correct but I did make sure that I completely uninstalled it from mac osX before I installed the LE version.
 
I was talking about smart_scratch being enabled on one of your decks... your original reason for starting this thread...
 
oh sorry, I can't attempt to change it because I can't go into the options in vdj le.
 
i actually kept my home edition and just made a new folder 4 le so i make my changes on home ed and it saves automatically two le
