Topic: Private messaging has new features?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Just noticed that private messaging now allows us to mass delete and view sent messages; I'm not sure how long this has been available for but nice addition, thanks :)

Good to see "view sent messages" is back, really missed that function with my memory, lol. Plus I've finally got "delete all" think I'll go and clear out over three years of dead messages...

Thought I\'d broke it... lol, took over five minutes to delete them last one on the list was 07/12/2007 (last time i had deleted any) guy named djcyder, lol, is that a record...
 

Very nice, noticed last night. But still no notification by email when a PM is awaiting your attention though. I have this function on the 2 other forums I'm a member off, but not here

This is very handy feature to the guys like myself who don't spend a lot of time here any more!!!!

No email notification is a bummer :( I always feel bad if someone sends me a message and I don't reply for several days because I don't get any notification of a message, since I'm not always floating around virtualdj.com.

Something else I just noticed is that the icon for sent messages is labelled as "Outbox". I would strongly advise against using the term outbox for sent messages, because in most email clients, "Outbox" is where the messages that have NOT been sent (yet) go. That could cause some confusion.

Not trying to be a pain in the ass, but... I thought it is worth mentioning.
