I just purchased the Hercules steel and I am combining it with the trial version of Virtual DL 6.
I"m trying to get the green buttons 7-12 programmed to do for e.g. loop 2 - loop 4 - loop 8 - loop 16 and when pushing the same button again the the loop-x function stops but I don't find how I can do that ... :(
I've took a look at the xml file of the Hercules steel but I cannot figure it out ..
Can anyone give me a push in the right direction ?
thx

To edit the button mappings in VirtualDJ Pro, please do the following:
NOTE: Do not edit the XML file directly.
- Go to CONFIG -> Mappers
- Choose the Hercules DJ Console Steel in the drop-down list.
- Click + (Add) and then press the button you wish to assign/change on the controller.
- Enter the action you wish to assign in the box, e.g: loop 4
- Repeat for the other buttons you wish to change.
NOTE: Do not edit the XML file directly.

Worked like a charm ! Thx very much !
do you know if there is somewhere a list of commands for virtual dj which discribes the syntax of the commands ? I can't find that anywhere ... (like "loop x", "pitch", "stop", "play" , ...) so I can add other wanted commands to my Hercules steel

Yes, there is a list on the following page:
http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/VDJscript_verbs.html
And some general information about VDJscript on the following page:
http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/VDJscript.html
And some examples of more advanced scripting:
