Hi everyone, I know how much everyone has been interested in using Firetext and how it works in conjunction with VDJ, well with comments we have read around the forums and from current VDJ and Firetext users and a little input from me, lol, we have been working away in the background for the last two months to come up with a new add on to our Firetext range of sms/text software solutions aimed specifically at you the DJ.

Below are just a few snaphots of our final alpha version before we go into beta and if you look carefully I hope you will be happy with some of the things that have been included....



this is just the beginning for what we have planned for this DJ add on and I will let you know shortly what we already have in development for this addition to the Firetext range.

As you can see we have already put in the facility for you to use picture in picture (PIP), coming in the very near future you will have the use of multiple PIP.

All functions including PIP can be put any where on screen and using our transparency your show can only look as good as your imaginations.

Now this is where we need your help, we are looking for people who use video on a regular basis in their shows to give the beta version a bit of a work out, not only that we want your ideas and suggestions to make this a fantastic application any DJ will want.

For your help in testing this out in VDJ for us you will have the use of this add on for an extended period of time and i mean "extended" you'll be wishing me a happy new year with it, lol.

Anyone interested in participating in the beta testing please leave your name below on this page, please dont contact me by pm for inclusion as only names left here will be considered, as well as the usual covenants in beta testing we ask all beta testers wherever you are based can converse easily in the english language, are also willing to install skype (it's freeware) if they haven't already.

What is going on with the cpu levels in those pictures?

i had about half a dozen other things running in the background when i decided to take those snapshots, i was rendering a video on one of them and converting another vid for clipbank in another, the others were just windows onto the net i think.

I don't mind volunteering for the beta fire text.

I don't use video's at present but looking to in the future.

I do a lot of karaoke evenings with my own advert displays using the clipbank slideshow within VDJ.

Just giving you another option as you only mentioned about videos if you wish for it to be tested in a karaoke enviroment i will be more than willing.

If only I had a spare cell phone or a separate number to use with my current phone (that is if it would do multi line) I'd be more than happy to give it a work out.

Ive been runnin Firetext for a few weeks and love it, lookin forward to testin this out. Helped the guys get it capable for more than just the Motorola phones and am averaging over 600 messages a nite. The most I had was like 1400 messages. Paul u let me know what is needed.

I am currently using VDJ as my main platform in 2 clubs on a weekly basis and use videos widely. Your software looks like just the thing I might be looking for to use text messages. I am happy to take part in beta testing and will be able to articulate & constructive feedback.

will this plugin work with more moblie/phone than the stand alone version of firetext ????
been trying with the demo of firetext but can seem to get any of my moblies phones to work with it????

but if you are look for beta testers im up for that..... been look foward to a SMS plugin....

@hardingncik can actually think one of the functions will be great for you when doing karaoke especially in a competition or just a laugh throughout the night and that would be "text to vote" best/worst singer, just put the names onto a template and watch the percentages & bar graph grow per singer, can be used for anything really.

I do video for most of my gigs. I have used other TXT programs before but have only integrated them with VDJ using a hardware video mixer with ChromaKey. I would love to try this out and help Beta test it.

I have been using video for about a year now i wold love to try it out at some up comming high school gigs. as well as some bar venues.
