hello,

does anyone know if the vdj 6 supports like plug and play with the ns7??

if right know i have numark cue i have to upgrade to vdj pro in order to have vdj 6??

and when i buy the vdj pro does it is the final version vdj 6?? or is it the 5.2 and then do the update to vdj 6??

Nope... is not on the list that the mapper windows shows ...
 
really??

i meen the banner of vdj 6 on the website shows that there are 40 preassigned midi controllers and you are telling me that none of those 40 is the ns7??

i really desapointed with numark if this is true....... i ONLY boght the ns7 to use it with cue or virtual dj because the ns7 is a really nice and cool and perfect feeling for scrtching but SERATO ITCH is really a pice of shi@#$ software i meen is nice and very simple and also is not practical!!

virtual dj is the BEST is it to much to ask for a perfect controller for viertual dj or cue i mean with sppingin platters for scratching and really nice looking .

really please check again if the ns7 is there....
if is not im really going to consider to sell my ns7!!!

one more thing i find thison the vd6 info: ''But if you have a controller that is not in the preinstalled list, you can easily create a "definition" file for it, using a simple XML syntax, for any HID or MIDI controller. where can i upgrade or buy or download the vdj 6?? to see if i can map it the ''simple XML syntax''.

what im hopping is that the platters can spin and all the led will work after i finish mapping it.
 
So what about the NS7 ! We are waiting for more informations about the maping of this controler ! it is not on the 40 premapped controler list
Now , has the NS7 been tested on vdj6 or not ? please give us information !
I already have the ns7 and on vdj I can map buttons and leds and what about the platters please . when i turn the plater it crash and close vdj6

i can send you a midi map of the ns7 that thta a frind send me this might help you but the led are off and the pletters dont spin the only act as a jog wheel mode (to search)
 
the only thing is to test the ns7 with this info to map it to vd6:

but i know a lot of computers but mapping the really had you find this little something with each button that its almost imposible to map!!.

please if someone has vdj 6 and a ns7 try to map it. the most important things is that you can get te platters to sping and scratch and the led.


i thing Numarks guys just dont see that. why match such a powerfull controller like the ns7 to only a very simple software as itch, all the dj have diffent styles. if they dont make the ns7 compatible with other software such as vdj they will loose a lot of money!!
 
I'll try to map my ns7 and try does it work with vdj 6! but it would take me a long time to do this
And I bought this controler just to see it work with vdj that i use since the begining of this software !
I am a little bit sad...
 
i will sent it to you right now it is actually made by: atomix, im a also sad, i boght the ns7 thinking that it will be and upgrade for me since i use a total control the ns7 will be a step up but actually is a step down....

but don't worry we must be patient , the vdj team will integrate this controler very soon i think because its simply the best one !!
I think that the NS7 featuring VDJ6 will be the best equipement for djs !
I tried a lot of controlers like total control dmc2 with nuo4 , dj console RMX and I always work with timecoded vinyl , but the ns7 is really what we expect since a long time in controler domain !
 
I am also a NS7 User that is very disappointed with no native support on VDJ 6.

Still waiting on an NS7 Mapping for VDJ6. No motors, No scratch wheel, No Jog Wheel still. Only basic things work like Cue, Play, Pitch, EQ, Vol, Crossfader etc... work. Any help here would be great

I mapped my NS7 but no jog wheels !! So at this time no one has found the good config for this controller !
has the vdj team some new information about this map ? that we dont have yet on the general discussion forum or hardware forum please

hi can anybody help me with this!!!!!!!
i am using my laptop with virtual dj 6 and it has a 3.1 standard soundcard and i have a uca222 external usb soundcard now i output my out's from the uca222 through my dixon mix dex 3 in to amplified speakers and i use the laptop soundcard to connect the headphones so now wen i play after a while the external uca222 starts distorting...could it be my settings cos this is how i have them configured

inputs;none
outputs;headphones-------master:1st card/headphones second card
sound card; 2 soundcards-----------primary sound card
-----------usb sound card

could it be lack of ram cos my laptop runs on windows 7 pro with 2gb ram
