I've had this product for a few years now and I love it! Be aware though at the time I purchased it Win XP was still fairly the dominant PC os and that's really the operating system this was built for if you plan on buying be aware that there are no Vista or WIndows 7 drivers available now or in the future it is in effect an obsolete product as behringer moved on to the BCD3000 and other controllers which they have released new drivers for.
Not all that great, you have to use a power cord, the bcdj software that comes with it sucks cant configure with external sound card.. All around just a headache.. Dont recommend, spend the few extra dollars and get something worth the money..
I've been mixing electronic music on my PC for two months, and trying to control my mixing software with a mouse and keyboard was very limiting. I decided to shop for some type of controller.
The BCD2000 has the most features in it's price range. Most other similarly priced controllers require the purchase of an additional 4-4 usb soundcard, while the BCD2000 has one built in. The device has native support in nearly all the DJ software I've tried.

It's lots of fun...I chose it because of the style and available input/outputs. I am using it with my laptop running Vista and it works great! I have this Mixer, 1000 watt amp and good DJ speakers and I rock out at parties! You don't need to spend 3k worth of DJ equipment.
After loads of negative review of this product I had hesitated to buy..but the price appealing so I decided to give it a shot and I kinda like considered the money lost in case that if didnt work for me...after reading few instruction on the Virtual DJ forum...Bingo!! It works flawlessly!! I am having a blats and I spent 129 bucks!! haha!! Indedd it takes a little of knowledge to make it work, but let me tell you what I did: 1> Device Manager > Universal Serial Bus on USB Root Rub > properties > Power Management Tab > mark the box Allow system to turn off this device to save power...you have to do this for all your USB's. 2> Turn Off the Wireless on you Laptop if you are using any!
