 Second Hand Console No CD

If you have purchased a second hand hardware MIDI controller that originally came with VirtualDJ LE, VirtualDJ Console Edition, Numark CueLE, etc. then you may find that the original software installation CD and/or the serial number was not included by the seller.

Without the original software that came with the console, it will not be possible for you to use it with VirtualDJ unless you purchase a license for the full VirtualDJ Professional.

Your first course of action should be to contact the seller and ask them to send you the original installation CD if they still have it.

If not, then you may be able to obtain a replacement install CD from the manufacturer.

You should also be able to obtain the original VirtualDJ LE/Console Edition serial number in most cases from the manufacturer. However, if this has already been registered by the former owner, then you will not be able to register it.

This is because VirtualDJ serial numbers are non-transferable and cannot be sold, given or transferred to another user. Doing so is a violation of the End User License Agreement (EULA). The LE license may also now form part of the seller's full VirtualDJ Pro license if they used it to upgrade at a discount.

However, you may still be able to use it to upgrade to VirtualDJ Pro at a discount if the former owner did not already do this. To check, please go to http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html and enter the VirtualDJ LE/Console Edition serial number in the box provided.
