Plug a pair of amplified stereo speakers into master output on the back of the 4-Mx and your headphones into the headphone socket of the 4-Mx.

Troubleshooting:

  • If the 4-Mx will not function as a MIDI controller and is not able to control VirtualDJ, please check that the MIDI channels are set to the default channels 1&2:

    - Click on the DJ Control Panel icon (Bottom-right in the Windows task bar, near the clock.)

    - In the Advanced tab, make sure the MIDI Channel is set to 1-2

  • If you are unable to get any audio through your headphones even with the above sound settings, please ensure that you have the most recent version VirtualDJ LE installed (Or VirtualDJ Pro if you have upgraded.)

To download the most recent version, please register your VirtualDJ LE or full Pro serial number and then go to Download Center.
