Can anyone explain to me how save a cue point so that remains even after I've closed virtualDJ and opened it again?

as long as u shut down vdj properly it should be saved next time u load it as long as the file is from the same location it was when u added the cuepoints

I'm having the same problem. Closing the app using Apple Q... Also all of my DB info (BPM n such) goes away as well. I am guessing I am doing something wrong or have not configured the DB properly. I imagine Xavier is having these problems as well. Been reviewing the manual to no avail.
