After a few hours tinkering with Newmarks Omni I came up with a good setting for it. drop the file in your documents/virtual dj/mappers folder and run vdj.
Loop is a problem as left + right decks share same midi assign, however I got a good compromise using loop in for left deck & loop out for right.
Fixed FX for left & right, on/off, select, amt & par.
Used filter controls for samples, trigger with filter on/ off, volume with filter amt & select with fine pitch.
Finally ensure your settings in config/options are for CD and jog sensitivity is set low.
It works for me, no strange behaviour as with native xml and others.
