Hi,

The FLX10 emulation is near perfect.

The only effect that is not same is "spiral" : on RKB is beat fx (1 - 1/2 - 3/4 ....) not a % fx

and in RKB you can activate the MIC reverb Internal FLX 10 hardware fx. (HID or mid cmd to open reverb for mic 1 or mic 2). Could you add this ? :)
(it's not a software mic fx....)

however bravo, the fx emulation is now better than DDJ1000..... fx are now better.
(But RKB have still the best 32 bits fx but bad stems - and VirtualDj 2023 have the best stems but not always clean 32 bits engine fx...)

Bravo - keep the good work

Dear Virtual DJ Team, the BPM speed does not match, you can always see +05 on the controller (e.g. if the software shows 145.00, the controller shows 145.05?! lg

Yes, saw this, but there is no control from the FLX10, right ? So, has to be done from GUi or assigned to some button and knob, correct ?

@ Hi DJDad,
Which mapping lines do I have to change and how, so that the mix point link function works like RB?
thanks Werner

Yes, FLX 10 MIC reverb only settings from Rekordbox :
Found this in .app lmidi mapping :

MicFXState,MicFXState,Button,9619,,,,,9619,,,,,RO,
MicFXLevel,MicFXLevel,Value,B604,,,,,B604,,,,,RO,

i think the good idea is to add this command in VDJ options (FLX10 section) (and in settings.xml like this) (example :)
<PIFLX10-MicFXState>1</PIFLX10-MicFXState>
<PIFLX10-MicFXLevel>60</PIFLX10-MicFXLevel>

Ok, added for next update.
There will be variables to assign to any button and knob u want, but also a special Pad Page (offered with Long press of HOTCUE pad mode button) to adjust from skins and controller

A new Early Access is available (Build 7537) which has ..
- fix for 2nd decimal digit on BPM (Jog screen)
- new setting Jogringcolor in OPTIONS->CONTROLLER cat to define the Ring color ('Stems' is the default value)
- controls for Hardware Reverb FX on Mic (long press of HOTCUE button to get a Pad page)
- new Stretch Effect replaces Pitch FX

PS. You may have to restart new EA a second time for some mapping updates though (silent push).

Also in new EA, Stems FXs are now post-fader (well, the ones that make sense,, like Echo, Echo Low Cut, Reverb, Spiral, Delay)

The "normal" case is when all 3 Stem FX buttons are turned off. In this case, no FX is applied on any particular Stem and the Effects are post-fader.
At the moment, the Effects applied to Stems are not Post-fader but we plan to offer this soon. This is the reason why you dont get the expected Echo trailing when any or all Stem FX buttons are enabled

thanks for the reply!

i've noticed with the new update that when stem fx are disabled that there is an increase in volume on that part of the track, as if enabling one of the stem fx options is adding an attenuation setting. not sure if this is a setting i can change or not

I think, i didn't find it, is it possible to change to modern EQ (Pioneer part ISO) in hardware? the combination Shift + cue doesn't work so far.

Thanks

The LEVEL parameter sends the same Midi values as in RB, so whatever values are not offering the Reverb Effect on Mic, it's how it was designed and really cant explain further.
Instead of going -/+10% steps for LVL (with the Pads), you can assign set '$micreverblevel' to a knob or a Skin custom slider and have more precise control.

You re right, will change to persistent variable.

Factory default mapping ?

If not, add these lines to your custom one..
<map value="MIC_REVERB" action="var &apos;$micreverb&apos;" />
<map value="MIC_REVERB_LEVEL" action="var &apos;$micreverblevel&apos;" />
