Topic: how to use virtual dj on a non administrator account

i downloaded this program on my standard account and installed it on my standard account and the instalation works fine and when it says launch virtual dj it works fine. when i close the program there is no sortcut and when i go into the program files and run the aplication it says instalation error
please reinstall virtual dj from the official installer, i
f you have multiple user accounts then install on the account you are using, not the administrator.
i havent even installed on adminsrator, but it works on the admin account

is there something im doing wrong or i dont know

any help would be advised because i love this program and dont want to run it on the administartors account

I would think your file is broken. Please redownload your version from the Download Center or the Home Free from here: http://www.virtualdj.com/products/homefree.html

i have tried but still no luck it works fine on the admin account but not on the account i want to use.
i am running vista btw
 
Sorry - my fault. Did not get it on the first time....

You need Administrator rights to use the Software so you need to install it with the account you want to use later which needs Admin rights.

You are posting to a completely irrelevant thread. Please find a relative iRemote thread to post or open a new one.

I did the same thing and undid it so it can be done it, took a little reading and I think it was in the rigth click on the logo and then trouble shoot it , then adjust the run as admin. you can also do it through the control pannel... under program and features.
 
Hi guys,

I have a slightly different issue. I have 2 accounts on my windows 7 pc, one for me, one for my DJ. I have the admin account, and can run VirtualDJPro just fine, however my DJ's account can't run it. It has a skin error (0). can you tell me how to configure things so whichever of us has the laptop is able to use the program.
