Topic: Pioneer DDJ Ergo V - Virtual DJ LE to Virtual DJ Home

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hi, I just picked up my DDJ Ergo from Pioneer, and I installed the software that came with it, Virtual DJ LE. When I fired it all up, I noticed that alot of the features from the Home edition of Virtual DJ, was missing. I am now wondering if there's some way to map the Pioneer DDJ Ergo to the Home Edition instead of using the LE edition, because it sucks. I read one article about this, but I think it only considers the Pro version vs the LE version. If someone knows something about this please help!

No, this is not possible. VirtualDJ Home FREE does not support using MIDI controllers (Except for 10 minutes at a time as a trial of the full VirtualDJ Pro.) It's for non-commercial use only using your mouse and keyboard to mix.

VirtualDJ LE that comes with the Ergo is limited software - Please see http://www.virtualdj.com/products/comparison.html

To be able to have all the features in Home FREE as well as Ergo support and much, much more, you will need to upgrade to the full VirtualDJ Professional. Your VirtualDJ LE entitles you to a discount. To receive this, please go to http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html and enter your LE serial number in the box provided.

Okay, thanks for the help! =)

Pioneer can be used with Virtual pro7.0.3 Full or not
