Topic: problem with numark dj io and dj 2go

i just purchased a numark dj2go and a dj io to run the headphones off of... but it doesnt seem to work.. the dj2go works fine but i cant get any sound out of the headphones when they are plugged into the io.. anyone got any suggestions? i am assuming that it is just something i am doing or not doing correctly but cant for the life of me work out what it is..

what is your sound set up mate in vdj.
also have you downloaded latest drivers for djio on numark website.
 
basically i got a macbook pro dj2go is plugged into that, io is also plugged into that... followed all the instructions and nothing.. the dj2go works fine but no sound is coming thru the headphones which are plugged into the io...
 
make sure you select the 4;1 soundcard from sound set up.
also plug djio into same usb port where you plugged into when downloading drivers.
so basically you will have dj2go and djio into ports on mac.
then go to numark djio on desktop and make sure it says connected.
now go to and open vdj and open sound setup.
inputs,,,, none
ouputs...headphones (if using mixer....external mixer)
soundcard...4;1
try this as im not familiar with dj2go and if you are using an external mixer.
 
no joy... have tried every single configuration and it still doesnt work...
 
are you using an external mixer mate if so just use headphone jack there and 4;1 soundcard and also make sure you choose numark from dropdown box.
i never used headphone connection on djio.
did you check your numark icon on desktop to make sure its connected

the DJIO is an ASIO device and selecting 4:1 will not work.

If the driver is correctly installed, then selecting ASIO will automatically select the Numark USB audio device (DJIO), if connected and the only audio device connected.

I have run VDJ with my S4 with the DJIO still plugged in by mistake, just a case of selecting the right outut device.
 
 
What if you have teh full Version of the Virtual DJ 7 Pro and have no AIO.. WOuld that work and if Yes How am i gona config it... I have been trying to do that but iv been confusing ma self with the Headphones bottoms on the DJ2Go. Anyone can help.. can i again and also use teh DJ2go with Version 6.XXXX
 
You will need to register your Pro serial number on the page http://www.virtualdj.com/users/edit.html and then download the latest version from http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html

DJ2GO will not work with VirtualDJ 6.x or older. These versions are too old and have no support for this new controller. Also, there have been many improvements to the software since then - Please see http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/VirtualDJ_History.html

The DJ2GO does not have its own built-in sound card so you will need to use an external sound card to pre-listen via headphones or use the mono separated option - See http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/Pre-listening%20with%20headphones.html

The headphone button is used to select which deck to pre-listen to.

Please Forum .Kindly help me Out.Does the DJ2go has a Loop" in it own".Cuz when ever i tries to loop i use my Computer Keyboard to do so which has been keeping me mad.I even at times confuses ma self to use the DJ2go as a Keybord ending me messing up.Does anyone here knows any shortcut that can allow me to do so. loop specifically.
 
The DJ2Go does not have a dedicated looping function on the controller itself. However, with the purchase of Pro Full (mentioned above) you can map any button or slider on the device to do what you'd like.
 
whether they could use the DJ/IO numark M101 when working on the V DJ to change and configurations?
