This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

hey guys i got a problem i just buy the new hercules 4mx and i cant get any audio from the cue (headphones 3-4 or jack) i still have my hercules rmx and i never had that problem before, i tried to call the technical support line but no answser, does anybody else have this problem? can somebody help me? i dont think is damaged but it could be defective because everything else works great except the audio on the cue, the cue-mix knob works fine. i havent mess whit the default configurations of hercules thats why im thinking is factory defective.

try to controle the audio output settings.
or the sound card.

is the vdj config setup for cueing? it may have crapped out when you connected the new controller.

I cant get get cueing from the headphones on my 4mx. In the headphones I can hear the same thing that's playing through the speakers but not what's loaded up on the opposite deck before changing the cross fader.

I also had this problem with my Hercules 4Mx controller, if your using it as your main sound card then you will have to use it in ASIO Mode by right clicking the Hercules icon in the taskbar and open the controller Control panel, click on the ASIO option, x out.....then Close and Restart VDJ...this should work.....

This Hercules controller has a problem when using the "WDM" drivers for headphone use, it doesn't work... I've also sent them specifics on this and still waiting...

Good Luck,

Joey.....

thats the same issue im having , i got the mk4 and the exact same thing.. the head phones dont work.. im wondering if it came with a version of this program you think it wouild work... i dont get that..

Just download the new driver from Hercules sites and once finish the updates do and configure the setting of the soundcard by doing it in the "advance config" then "sound setup" then you have + sign to add the inputs and outputs of the soundcard be sure like deck 1 & deck 2=output 1&2, main out & headphones=output 3 & 4 try to tweak a bit and you will get it right.
