As far as I am aware there are no changes in the sound engine between 7.01 & 7.02

you can adjust that in the settings



If you want the quality higher then you will have to live with the slower load you can't have it both ways unfortunately.



Thanks for pointing this out. The quality sampling really makes a huge diffence soundwise, so I'm now considering upgrading to a higher spec laptop hoping that this will load the videos quicker while still maintaining the good audio

Mac software - Under the Performances tab - where's the drop box to adjust the latency of the sound card????

Hey Guys I have just bought virtual dj pro 7 for my new mac book pro. I installed I then clicked the application to open it for the first time so i could put my seriel number in it and it didn't even load up!!! it came up with the virtual dj logo and then just stopped and had an error message telling me to contact virtual dj which i have tried to do but no one has answered the phone!!! I am extremely upset at this moment in tim as i have purchased this product for £235.00 and "electronically" downloaded it off this site and its not working!!!

Can someone please tell me if this is a problem at the moment!???!

OK all sorted no thanks to virtual dj they need to have a better support system its awful!!

Please bare in mind that the service phone line is US based, and consider the time of year. I've always found the best option for us in europe to get a speedy repsonse is to follow the Ticket system here: http://www.virtualdj.com/contact/index.html

I run into one problem/feature with new version and I'm using the Windows version. In 7.0.1 version when I clicked the maximize icon I got the Windows taskbar visible from behind the VDJ skin but in 7.0.2 I the same clicking of the maximize icon doesn't work and I didn't figure out how to do it anyway else either. Because I work as a nightclub DJ and some night are veeery boring, it is very handy to have the taskbar with you all the time so you can be in Facebook etc. and you still can see the VDJ behind the Firefox window. Do you understand what I mean? Shiiiiit.

Thanks for your response the only person who did!! lol but yeah i had just started to panic to be honest with you but now i have it its like bloody gold dust i think it is fantastic!!

still need to do a bit of working out to do with it though. for example downloading plugins etc. oh and is there a way of having a Visualisation on the video while playing audio if any one knows let me know thanks!!

just drag and drop your vis/vid over to the track window or you could use sonigues or clipbank to play on audio only tracks.

need help setting those up just look in my blog or give me a shout.

Since I updated to version 7.0.2 my videos in the itunes folder don't work, when I click on the video folder there's nothing there can someone help me with this matter.
 
The latest version really helped 4 deck skin with loading speed of videos. THANKS. Merry Christmas I've been rock solid for years with everything on a laptop and 2 external 2 Terabyte drives. I'm half of my dedicated video ram still. Should I change to full amount since new version?

This happen 3 times
I Installed the 7.02 now since I have an Itouch no problem when I was using it...But the otherday I did my first and only gig since the update and two hours into it my music stopped and and the screen froze
Nothing would play
The itouch was not connected at the time so I know thats not the problem
Also I am using the Numark omni incase your wondering
Is this a know issue or something wrong
Please help
I cannot have this happening while performing
I exited out and reopened and it gave me the asio driver error message and still would not play
I had to disconnect and restart my laptop completely
Also I am using an hp dv6000 if you need to know that as well
I have never had this problem in the entire 1 1/2 year of using it
This happen about an hour again after I had it working and again 30 mins before the end of the night
PLEASE HELP
 
ALSO WHAT EXACTLY IS LETENCY ? AND ULTRA- LETENCY ASIO
 
is the omni a new purchase/install ?

the asio error i believe indicates the install is not complete / has failed
 
no, its not a new install
Ive been using the omni for months
 
so by looking at the thread ill will be downloading 7.2 onto gig machine...always wait a while so that creases are ironed out......have to say using 7.2 on backup on mac and seems solid
