Record is changed !PLease HElp! To record from my mixer by the mic input of my lap. This New version of V7 dont have anymore the option FROM
where you want to record on the Record- Record Audio -Configuration box. V6 and older It used to Have the option from where do u want
to record. I used to choose Record From:Line In .and from the dropdown menu
Microfone/Line in sigmatel audio, o etc.
I been checking the conf for the advanced inputs but I think that is only for the timecodes or other stuff nor for recording I can Not make it to work. It ONLY records from the main ouput from virtual . I want To record FROM my Mixer output LIKE I USED TO DO FOR YEARS.
I hope you Havent desapear that option Otherwise is noBueno.

Use the Advanced Sound Setup from the config menu.
Add
RecordLoopback.... Sound card ... input No.
 
On Where?? Input - output -or -soundcard . because I already done that before And doesnt work. I want to record from the input of the
microfone line , source coming from my mixer ouput, so I can record my mix How I used to do on older vertions. Help this new vertion I cant record . Are U recording this way?
 
I dont record this way, but it seems to me (since you have an external mixer) that you have to connect your booth or rec output of your mixer with the mic input of your laptop soundcard.
Then try to add to the Adv sound setup
Recordloopback ... Laptop Soundcard ... input 1&2

If this doesnt work open a new thread in the Hardware Forum. I'm sure someone will help you out.
 
How to do this is explained in the Audio Setup guide.

To get to the Advance Config - you can select it from the Input or Output drop-down.

I am going to assume you use a multi-output sound card since you are going to an external mixer - so on the Advance Config interface you would have the following

Deck 1 - Selected Soundcard - Output 1&2
Deck 2 - Same card as Deck 1 - Output 3&4
Record Loopback - Sigmatel audio - Input 1&2

All your cable connections stay the same.

Csan you please post the a copy of virtual Dj 7.0.1 on my download page. I'm having issues with the new upgrade of virtual dj. My ns7 is not doing what is suppose to do when pressing the sync botton and when pressing cue bottons. Also the song restart after playing for a little while. This error is only on the left platter of the ns7. Sorry in advance if i post it in the wrong thread. Thanks!

Is there any talk of Virtual DJ coming out with an Android app!

For those of us that don't have an Iphone or Ipad but have an Adnroid device would be very greatful!!

Any info would be great!

i downloaded the free version which is Virtual DJ Home and i want to download effects , i have to buy like Virtual DJ broadcaster or Pro basic or Pro full to download them or can i just buy a membership and download them ?
 
Effects require a purchased version. I'm not sure what effects are allowed with what version though; someone else will have to clarify that.
 
VirtualDJ Broadcaster and VirtualDJ Basic allow skins, effects and samples to be downloaded and used.

For video effects/transitions, mappers and tools, the full VirtualDJ Professional is required.
 
I have Virtual DJ Pro Full 7.0.4.
