Topic: Can you have 2 versions of VirtualDJ on your system at the same time

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Can I have VirtualDJ 5.1 and 5.2 on my system at the same time. The reason for this I want to test something out in 5.2

If you can, how do you go about it.

Jimmy go to My computer/C/Program Files/Virtual dj and rename the virtualdj.exe to virtualdj51.exe, or whatever u wanna call it, copy that shortcut to the desktop, then install 5.2 and it will pu that on the desktop as well and u wil have both.

Thanks Brian, easy when you know how, lol

BTW mate, thanks for helping us out with that thing the other morning ;)

at last brian it's up and running, it was dead easy, wasn't it jimmy, lol.... not. apparently we must have done everything correct it was just not showing, as dread reckons he did nothing to adjust anything that was all ready working, and thanks for his time as well, so thanks for your patience yous, ...wish we had taken that route two and a half hours earlier and you would have had more sleep.

by the way guys sorry haven't been around on there for the last couple of days, giving the room a bit of a lick of paint and a new lay out, finally got the go ahead by the clerk of works (christine), should be back to normal tea time tomorrow or latest thursday, got a new toy to play with today and it knocks the socks of vegas for effects, once mastered will be able to give you some fantastic visuals for your shows.
