hi everyone, i just started mixing video and now i need to start building a library. does anyone know of a good sites to download music videos? i would really love to get the classic high energy videos such as Divine, Tapps and Lime. i see them all over youtube but you can't download them from there. any help will be much appreciated.

doing videos is always gonna be hard to build a library..... and especially the classics......
downloading them is another problem... that u gonna have.. just not gonna find classics like those to download

Suggest you find a service and subscribe to such as Promo Only... Video Pook etc. Mix Mash

That being said the quality UTube videos are NOT something you would ever want to play professionally.

First it would be illegal to use in a public venue, second it would be a crime to subject an audience to the low quality videos.

Bottom Line - Utube = A long prison term with a dude named Leroy playing hide the soap.

I currently use www.my12inch.com, tons of videos and you can get a free membership if you are on the radio, www.smashvidz.com if you want good mashups or extended, and they are starting to put up dance, classics ect... and a new one I just found is www.8thwonderpromos.com. It is only $9.99 a month and has currently about 400 videos and alot are remixed, exteded, classics ect... And you can get new music from them.

I have spent time on You Tube and got video on some old Rock N Roll songs in spanish, Such as Los Apson, Enrique Guzman, and Los Teen Tops, I played a a Wedding and the crowd went crazy!
They thought I invented this but I got on the Mic and said " www.virtualdj.com "
The quality was "ok" I got the mp3 going with the video linked to the songs.
